LEADER CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR
NON-DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION/OUT-OF-STATE APPLICANTS
The State of Hawaii’s Revised Statutes, Section 302A-605 requires all Principals and Vice Principals to meet certification requirements of the Department of Education in the State of Hawaii. The certification requirements limit our ability to actively recruit qualified educational leaders from other public or private schools throughout the nation. However, if you meet the following criteria, you may be eligible to be placed on our External Educational Officer list:
