High School Redesign
"High school redesign" is a research-based effort to reform high schools away from the traditional high school structures or systems of the past. It is based on the research studies - "Breaking Ranks" (1996) and "Breaking Ranks II (2004).
All 43 Hawaii public high schools signed on to the Hawaii High School Leadership Compact in 2006 to implement high school redesign in each high school.
