NH4: All required health education classes have instructional periods totaling a minimum of 45 minutes per week for grades K-3, 55 minutes per week for grades 4-5, 107 minutes for elementary grade 6, and 200 minutes per week for secondary grades 6-12.

- Kids Health
- Created by the Nemours Foundation’s Center for Children’s Health Media. A variety of health related information for children, teens and parents.
- Fruits and Veggies More Matters
- Formerly known as “5aday” campaign. This website contains nutritional information on a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. There’s also a calculator to find out how much fruits and vegetables are needed per day, tips on ways to include fruits and vegetables into your daily diet and delicious recipes to choose from.

- Developed by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), this website features an assessment tool to provide a dietary and physical activity recommendation based on an individual’s age, sex and physical activity level. Also provided are recommended servings of protein, fruits, vegetables, dairy, and grains.

- A variety of resources ranging from Disease and Conditions, Nutrition and Fitness, Mental Health, Healthy Living, Pregnancy and Parenting, etc.
- Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Index

- The National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information contains a wealth of information relating to Alcohol and Drug use.
- Averting HIV and AIDS
- AVERT is an international charity organization for Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Acquired Immuno-Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) prevention. This website contains information about HIV, AIDS and Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD)

- This excellent website developed by a team of physicians to provide a wealth of information on health related topics. On-line users can also sign up for daily news updates.
