CD3: Identified priority areas submitted in Safety and Wellness Survey (SAWS).
- Priorities identified by the School Health Index (SHI) need to be indicated in the annual Safety and Wellness Survey. The SAWS should be completed by the school Principal every year.
- The SAWS assesses the status of Wellness Guidelines implementation at Hawaii schools and is the monitoring component of the Wellness Guidelines mandated by Public Law 108-265, Section 204.
- In addition, the SAWS will provide Trend Report data on school, complex and State performance indicators in areas related to student safety and well-being.
