little dancerThe Hawaii Department of Education's priority in Recruitment will now emphasize the recruitment of teacher candidates that are Hawaii HQ ready or equivalent. This means that candidates must meet the following criteria in order to be considered for a face-to-face screening interview:

  • Hawaii Teaching License OR

  • National Board Certification OR

  • Completed the following PRAXIS exams:

    • PPST PRAXIS I: Reading, Writing, Math
    • PRAXIS II: Content Knowledge

                  AND

    • Transcripts (demonstrating completion of SATEP)
                AND
    • Completed Application – Apply ONLINE!

        • You will need this form if you
